PLUG PLANT ORDER FORM - Spring 2024
General Information
Once again, this year Swincar Nurseries will be producing young plug plants
for sale during the Spring for you to transplant into suitable
containers using the correct compost.
Plants will require heated greenhouse conditions!
They are not for direct planting outside and must be kept protected
until the risk of all night frost has passed. This is usually towards the
end of May.
PRODUCTS AVAILABLE
Geraniums
Horizon
Our Geraniums are in a tray of 120, this is a
slightly larger plug, to produce a better plant. These are reliable
varieties, which produce flowers on short strong stems, giving
excellent garden performance. We also sell packs of 20 plugs in our shop from early March, however we don't take orders for these and there is always plenty available at the start of the Spring season.
Begonias
Semperflorens - Organdy mixed (Fibrous Rooted)
A small flowered bedding begonia, with distinctive bronze and green
foliage, forming an attractive background to the red, white, and pink
flowers.
Becoming very popular, so please order early.

Begonia Non Stop & Begonia Illumination (Trailing)
Tuberous Begonias
Non Stop have large impact double flowers on compact plants with a
robust habit, ideal for tubs and bedding.
Illumination are the trailing variety ideal for hanging baskets and
tubs.
Both have performed outstandingly during the last few
seasons. Requires a minimum greenhouse temperature of 15 Degrees Celsius to grow this crop successfully.

Petunias (Bedding)
Frenzy mixed
Perfect petunias for bedding. Good free flowering habit and good
weather resistance.

Ordering
Avaliable in 200 plugs, we offer both upright and trailing varieties of Lobelia, as listed on our order form.
